Captain Steve Muir, Manager of the Army Museum of Western Australia was in touch to thank the Lorrha Martin O’Meara VC committee members for hosting himself and Neil in Lorrha. Steve said they were both very touched by our generosity and warm welcome.
In early November 2023, the Lorrha & Dorrha Historical Society hosted Conchobhar Ó’Súilleabháin alongside his living history group, ‘The Last Prince – O’Sullivan Beare.’ Their presence was a remarkable opportunity for locals and visitors alike to delve into the stories and legacy of this significant historical figure.
