Rathcabbin Hall Association

Rathcabbin Hall opened in 1922 on a site donated by the O’Brien family, Gurteen. An extension was
later built to incorporate a ‘supper room’ suitable for smaller meetings. In recent years, the building
has undergone necessary renovations to the roof as well as the public toilets, making it a modern
public hall in which to hold local events.
The hall has hosted the popular annual productions by Rathcabbin Players Drama Group for the last
half century, as well as performances by the nearby Rathcabbin National School. It also serves as a
vital meeting space for Lorrha-Dorrha Ladies Club, North Tipperary Ploughing Association, and the
local branch of the IFA.
