Bonners Retirement.
Well done and a happy retirement to our parish hurling great Patrick ‘Bonner’ Maher who has announced his retirement from inter county hurling. After sixteen years with Tipperary, three All Ireland titles as well as All Ireland minor and under 21 titles, a two time all star, and five Munster titles, Patrick walks away with great memories and can be proud of his achievements as he has been a wonderful servant to his county and to hurling. Tipperary hurling won’t be same without him. Patrick is still a great servant to his Lorrha club where he continues to inspire all the younger players coming up. We all send congratulations Patrick and the very best for the future.
