Sympathy.
Sympathy is extended to Colette Boucher and family, Lorrha, on the death of her mother Eileen Donelan, Killimor which occurred on September 29th. May she rest in peace.
Sympathy is extended to the Darcy families Ardcroney on the death of their mother Bridie which occurred on 30th September in her 97th year. Nee Coughlan, Curragha, Bridie was the last remaining member of her generation. May she rest in peace.
Rathcabbin Hall Happenings.
Progressive 25 winners on 11 games were Chrissie Hogan & PJ Nevin.
2nd prize was shared by 3 pairs on 10 games, Tom & Caoimhe Kennedy, Michael & Mary Moran, and Martin Young & Trevor Hogan.
The table prize went to Mary Lynch & Pat Smith, and Teresa Bennett & Nuala Hough, while the last game was won by Pat Smith & Paddy Heenan. Cards continue on Friday night at 8.30pm

Martin Kennedy Retirement Function.
In recognition of Martins years of service as a post man in our parish, a celebration night will take place in Rathcabbin Hall on Friday 25th October, starting with Mass at 7.30pm. followed by a presentation to Martin. Refreshments will be served. We look forward to your presence on the night to show your appreciation to Martin.

We extend the best of luck to Clodagh McIntyre who has been nominated for a camogie soaring star award for her performances throughout the year. The 16th annual All-Stars banquet sponsored by Liberty Insurance will take place in Citywest Hotel on Saturday October 19th.
Aglish Sociable Ladies.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Aglish Sociable Ladies had to cancel their presentation night which was arranged for Friday night last in Aglish Hall. A new date will be set in due course, so watch this space for further details. The committee apologize for any inconvenience caused.
GAA
Junior Football: Lorrha have progressed to the County Junior ‘B’ Football Championship quarter finals where they have been drawn against Moyne-Templetuohy with the game expected to be played on 19-20 October.
Under 21 Hurling: The under 21 hurling championship will commence on weekend 19-20 October.
Tipperary Clubs Draw: The club had no winners in the October draw which was held last Friday. We ask all promoters to bring their accounts upto date.
Juvenile/Camogie Raffle: Congratulations to Ann Marie Cahalan on winning the turf draw. Thanks to Darina Kelly, Joe Dolan, Paddy Reddin, Colm Kennedy and Caroline O’Brien for all the ticket sales. Also thanks to everyone who generously bought tickets. Finally a special thanks to Colm and Carol Kennedy from Tearaways for sponsoring the prize.
Camogie: Congratulations to the Lorrha Junior ‘B’ Camogie team on defeating Moycarkey/Borris in the county semi-final on Sunday and will play Fethard in the final on 19-20 October.
