Sympathy.

Sympathy is extended to Mark Mannion and family Lorrha on the untimely death of his son Grant which occurred on Sunday June 16th.  After funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Drogheda on Thursday 20th. cremation took place in Dardistown Crematorium. May he rest in peace.

North Tipperary Ploughing.

North Tipperary Ploughing committee extend sympathy to their secretary Laura McKenna on the death of her aunt Aine McKenna, to PRO Rose Mannion  on the death of her uncle Peter Loonam, and to Eamon Mannion on the death of his grandson Grant Mannion. May they rest in peace.

Good Luck.

The best of luck to Brian Hogan and the Tipperary senior team who take on Limerick for the second time in two weeks, this coming Sunday June 30th in the Munster final which takes place in Limerick. Unfortunately Patrick ‘Bonner’ Maher won’t be playing as he must undergo surgery for a cruciate knee ligament injury. This is very unfortunate for the Lorrha club man who has given so much to the game down through the years. What a massive loss Patrick will be, not just for this Munster final but all further games and also for his club. We extend a speedy recovery to him and hope he will be back on the hurling pitch in the not too distant future.

Date for your Diary
