Lorrha Notes
Sakie O’Brien, Rathcabbin is pictured here planting two rare English plum trees which he donated himself, in the Sensory Garden in Rathcabbin. Sackie who is 82 years old, put his all Ireland loy digging skills to good use recently and also did a good deed for his village.
This community space, funded by locals and North Tipp LEADER programme is a favourite play space for the children of the area and for grown up’s to sit awhile to enjoy the beautiful landscaped garden maintained entirely by the community spirited volunteers.
Rathcabbin Development Association thank Sakie for his kind gift and his interest in the garden.
