Redwood N.S. Halloween Camp!!
Halloween Camp in Redwood N.S. for 3-8 year olds. Running Tuesday 01st and Wednesday 02nd November from 9.30am until 2.00 pm. Camp will be Halloween themed – Come in costume!!!
Halloween art & craft, cookery, i-pads, learning through play and lots and lots of spooky fun!!!
€15 per day or €25 for both days.

Church News.
No Mass in Lorrha Church this coming Sunday, 23rd October. Usual Masses in Redwood on Saturday, 22nd Oct. at 8.00p.m. & Rathcabbin on Sunday, 23rd Oct. At 11.30am. The Rosary will be recited before Mass during the month of October.
Holy Year Pilgrimage to Mount St. Joseph: There will be a Pilgrimage to the Year of Mercy Holy Door in Mount St. Joseph, Roscrea on Sunday Oct. 23rd, meeting outside the Monastery church at 3.30pm. The theme of the day is “Cast your burdens onto the Lord.” We will be met by the Abbot who will lead us through the Holy Door and celebrate the special liturgy, which will include Scripture readings, hymns, a homily from the Abbot and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. After the Liturgy there will be a cuppa in the Monastery. If you would like to join please let us know (as the Monastery would need a rough idea of numbers) by phoning Fr. Art Classes.
Arts & Crafts for children (5 years up) on Saturdays at 4.00 and 5.30pm. Drawing for children (9 years up) on Wednesdays at 7.15pm, starting on October 5th in Bramble Art Studio, Lorrha , for 8 weeks. Please contact Ute: 087-9151356 or 090 9747127 Early booking advisable.
Autumn De-Clutter.
When cleaning out your wardrobe to make room for the autumn collection, please remember Lorrha Development/Tidy Towns who continue to collect unwanted clothes throughout the year. Items of clothing must be clean and dry and in good condition please and we can supply bags if you want. We can also collect to make it easy for you, just call (086) 8647166, (086) 8493595 or (087) 2601413 with your name and details. Please note we cannot accept Duvets, bedding, household linen, pillows, cushions, carpets, rugs and maths including bath toilet and shower math’s, soiled or wet clothing. All money raised from all fundraising ventures is used for the ongoing work around Lorrha Village which helps to keep two adults employed. Many thanks for your continued support.
GAA News
Under 21: The under 21 hurlers made it two wins from two in the North ‘B’ Championship following a 1-14 to 0-8 win over Portroe in Portroe on Sunday afternoon. Lorrha are in a strong position to make the semi-finals ahead of their final group match against Ballinahinch/Templederry which will be played in Moatfield and is provisionally scheduled for Saturday 29th October.
Tipperary Clubs Draw: Well done to Trevor Hogan, Derry, Rathcabbin who won €500 in the October County Board Draw last Friday night.
Lotto: Our jackpot is now €11,100 with a Match 3 pot of €120. Thank you for your continued support. You can play our lotto online at www.locallotto.ie where it is easy to play every week. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5.
Social Dancing: on Friday night to the music of Adrian Ryan. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am. At our Social Dance on Friday 28th October with Checkers, the Social Dance committee will donate the profits from the door takings the Tipperary Alzheimers Society while a raffle will also take place.
